The first of the two Group B matches gets underway at 13:30. Greece are at the second World Cup finals, they lost all their three games without scoring any goal.
German coach Otto Rehagel prefers highly defensive tactics which had been their foundation for success in 2004. Contrastingly, striker Theofanis Gekas was the top scorer during the European Qualifying Campaign scoring 10 of Greece's 20 goals. Greece will be llokng up to him, Celtic winger Samaras, Angelos Charisteas and captain Karagounis to score goals.
South Korea have now qualified for seven consecutive World Cups, but have found it difficult to get out of the group stage away from home. They will be looking up to captain Park Ji Sung to inspire them to a victory. They went unbeaten through their qualification.
